I pray that this finds you safe and well. I just wanted to provide you all with a quick update on what’s been happening here at The Mix at Arbor Place!
Due to COVID-19, our building and all of our onsite programs and activities have been suspended since March 16th. We have been following the direction of our local school districts as well as our local, state, and federal health departments and officials. So, in an effort to continue to move our mission forward and engage our students and families through this unprecedented time, our team has been working diligently to provide opportunities to serve them. Zoom calls, virtual programming, video messages, and meeting basic needs are some of the intentional and creative ways that our families are being encouraged and strengthened during this transition.
You may have heard that last week, Gov. Tom Wolf made the decision to close all Pennsylvania schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. While we are saddened by this, we do believe that it is the best decision to keep our community safe.
We will continue to focus our energy and resources on supporting our families through this and ask that you please keep us all in prayer.
